While it might take some time to get over the habit of vaping before bed, you’ll have a much better night’s sleep because of it in the long run.

Vaping certainly does affect your brain in many ways, any one of which could have a big impact on the quality of your sleep.
Addiction is one of the big ways it will affect your brain.
Vaping is often touted as a safer alternative to smoking cigarettes, but we are still learning precisely how vaping affects us.
Having a habit like this could lead to waking up the night with a craving.
There are many even more profound ways that vaping can affect your brain, like causing mood disorders, reducing impulse control and even affecting how synapses are formed.

Is vaping worse than cigarettes for sleep?

Both, plainly, are bad for sleep and will negatively impact your night’s rest.
There are many advantages to vaping over cigarettes, such as the lack of tar and carbon monoxide.
But when it comes to how it affects your sleep, the nicotine is really the main problem.
Given that cigarettes and vapes have roughly comparable levels of nicotine, there’s not much use in asking whether one is better than the other for sleep.
Both are going to be bad and make it harder for you to fall asleep, so try to avoid either before bed.
The bottom line, then, is that vaping before bed is going to affect your sleep.
You might eventually get used to it and the dreams may subside, but this is essentially just you getting used to a worse quality of sleep.
The best thing for you would be to try and get out of the habit of vaping before bed.
The nicotine will stimulate your brain, keep you awake, and more than likely lead to disruptive sleep patterns.
